| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Jim Collins Answers the Social Sector with a Monograph to Accompany Good to Great. 30-50% of those who bought Good to Great work in the Social Sector. - This monograph is a response to questions raised by readers in the social sector. It is not a new book.
- Jim Collins wants to avoid any confusion about the monograph being a book by limiting its distribution to online retailers.
- Based on interviews and workshops with over 100 social sector leaders.
- The difference between successful organizations is not between the business and the social sector, the difference is between good organizations and great ones.

Good to Great August 30, 2010 Stefanie My manager suggested that I read this book to help increase our profits. It seems helpful so far.
Good find. August 23, 2010 M. Remar (Houston) Applicable. Nonprofits suffer most in poor management. They'll tell you that it's due to competitive market place or lower donor giving levels or poor staff or board performance. This book would be a great place to start considering the management of your nonprofit.
Good August 15, 2010 Aleshia Came in great time with no problems. Product was as said it would be.
Worth the read April 6, 2010 Annamarie Horan (Philadelphia, PA United States) I read this book several years ago and found it to be unusually insightful. That the concepts presented were data driven made it all the more impressive. Looking forward to any follow up Mr. Collins may have on this topic.
Effective concept reorientation March 16, 2010 Larry Oehlert Collin's effectively reorients his "Good to Great" discussion to the social/non-profit sector with two primary key differentiators, the mandated use of defused power/authority by the leader and a redefinition of resources to a "resource engine" comprised of time, money and brand.
